Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate social responsibility (CSR, also called corporate conscience) is a form of corporate self-regulation integrated into our business model.
In our model, CSR goes beyond compliance with the set manufacturing standards in Nigeria, but engages in "actions that appears to further some social good, beyond the interests of the firm and that which is required by law."
CSR at MOJEC is a process with the aim to embrace responsibility for the company's actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere who may also be considered stakeholders.
One of our major contribution to the society is the establishment of ALMIGHTY COMPASSION, a home to house orphans on the street of Lagos State with another branch in Ibadan, Oyo State. ALMIGHTY COMPASSION as been able to accomplish a lot of things in monetary donations and aid given to local nonprofit organizations and communities, including donations in areas such as the arts, education, housing, health, social welfare, and the environment, among others, but excluding political contributions and commercial sponsorship of events. MOJEC do not only go in the philanthropy-based approach as it might not help build on the skills of local populations, but we have engaged ourselves with community-based development that generally leads to more sustainable development by sending our children for skill acquisition.
